Media research north London music scene:
North London is an informally defined part
of London which covers some of the capital lying north of the River
Thames. North London extends from clerkenwell and finsbury on the edge of the city of London financial district, to greater London's boundary with Hertfordshire.
the area North London covers is defined differently for a range of purposes- common to these definitions is that it includes districts north of the river thames and is used in comparison with south and central London as well as east and west London. London boroughs can also be identified by their postal codes such as nw2,n2 and for central can be EC to say east central.
within London there are many famous and infamous music venues that can vary greatly in size. When i think of London music venues camden as an area comes to mind as quite a unique and trendy place for music, as it is home to the roundhouse, but also some more discreet venues such as KOKO,the water rats, o2 forum.
on the other hand public parks and palaces can be used to host concerts or conventions such as hyde park, Finsbury park and Hampstead heath.
these venues are mainly used for jazz, grime, pop. within the summer months there are jazz festivals held on Hampstead heath whereas Finsbury park is famous for hosting wireless festival which is a festival aimed under 25s and typically has grime artists.

magazines tend to have an online presence now a days as paperless households become more popular and the use of the internet thrives.
